We are very sad to share that Barrett and Mak Programs has lost a very special soul. Bev Goldfuss passed away peacefully in her home on January 27th, 2025. Bev will be dearly missed by all that knew her and had lived in our Burde street home since 2014. 

Bev had a love of many things.. 

She had a passion for travel, she loved any excuse to get away for a holiday. Bev enjoyed listening to her Juke Box Oldies, she knew every song. Bev also loved to hear the “Choo Choo” from the train and was happy to take a ride on train this past summer. Bev always enjoyed feeling the wind in her hair, she loved to cruise in the car with the windows down. Bev enjoyed relaxing in her room and reading her braille books. You could hear Bev in the house making little jokes with the staff, boy did she make us all laugh. Bev also had a sweet tooth and enjoyed any excuse to have an extra treat!

We will miss Bev dearly and to all that feel sad, hopefully you can be a little more ‘happy and chipper’ for having known our sweet Bev.
