A shared living residence provides a home and caregiver support for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Individuals are able to choose a home share provider who best suits their support needs and lifestyle preferences.  BMP will continue to monitor and support the shared living environment.  Shared Living  will involve sharing your home and may include assistance in self-care, relationship-building, life skills, meal preparation and personal care.

At BMP, we arrange shared living for individuals who would like a little more independence but are not able to live without support.  Each home sharing arrangement varies depending on the unique needs and lifestyle preference of the individual.  We recognize that the most important part of shared living experience is the close relationship between the individual, home sharing providers, and BMP.

Individuals within a home not only share their home, but also share in each others lives.  In some situations members of the home spend a lot of time together and are actively involved in one another's daily activities.  In other homes, the arrangement is much more independent.

All home share providers undergo an extensive home study process.  Open your home to individuals with developmental disabilities and experience the many rewards that come with home sharing.
